As the owner of Clifton... I work and live in Clifton, it's a fantastic area of the city and a great place to bring up kids, socialise, run a business and relax.

Clifton Village is a beautiful shopping quarter in Bristol. Stroll amongst wonderful Georgian architecture and take your pick from any one of the many up-market independent shops and boutiques selling jewellery, art, gifts, furniture, fashion good food and more. The Clifton Suspension Bridge is just a short walk away.

While you are in the village head to Clifton Arcade too, this unique and beautiful Victorian shopping arcade houses some of the most unusual shopping in Bristol. Originally opened in 1878, it later fell into disuse but has recently been restored and now houses a community of small shops selling a huge variety of desirable items from the affordable to the wildly extravagant. From antiques, furniture and jewellery to designer clothes, contemporary interiors and art, (not to forget the books and music!), there really is something for everyone in the Clifton Arcade.

A couple of times each month there's an amazing Farmer's Market on Whiteladies Road. Head there for the best best fresh meats, fish, veg and cakes!
