Welcome to Monaco

Monaco

As the owner of Monaco... I bought this Zub as it's my favourite place to visit and spend time in the world!

I first went to Monaco (Monte Carlo) when I was 19 years old and I've been back every year and as often as I can.

Monaco is on the Mediterranean Sea, tucked into the Maritimes Alps, and is only a short drive (or helicopter ride!) from Nice International Airport and the French and Italian Rivera’s.

An abundance of first class restaurants and hotels... though make sure you have plenty of Euros.. it's not cheap.

Rich or poor, you must go to Casino Square to check out the cars and people watch. Plus a trip to the old part of Monaco is well worth it.

andyph !Monaco is definitely on the list of destinations for next summer. Is it worth staying just outside of !Monaco or going all out and staying in the middle of the action!?

Paul With the F1 only a couple of weeks away, Charlie Whiting has confirmed there is 'No evidence DRS dangerous for Monaco', which should make for some interest regarding the somewhat limited overtaking there. He went on to say "As it was introduced as an overtaking aid, it would be somewhat perverse not to allow it in the place where you need overtaking the most".

andyph Certainly will be interesting. It's a case of where and when the drivers will be allowed to deploy it in the race, and where they will decide to use it during quali, a prime example being Sutil during qualifying in Australia, when he applied throttle and DRS mid corner and found him self in a heavy spin. Fair enough this is driver error but surely, no matter where they put it in Monaco, it will cause similar issues? Also consider the lack of space for such errors!

Paul Is the Royal Palace in !Monaco in a spot of bother regarding the 2014 Winter Olympics? They are denying allegations by a former employee that Prince Albert II broke I.O.C. rules during Russia’s winning bid for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Robert Eringer, an American who said he worked as the prince’s intelligence adviser, said the prince accepted “lavish gifts and trips” from Vladimir V. Putin and Russia before and after Sochi was awarded the Games three years ago. Eringer is suing the prince in a California court, claiming breach of contract and seeking back pay. He urged the I.O.C. to hold an ethics investigation into the accusations, but the committee declined to say whether it would look into the case.

Paul U-Boat Worx will introduce its C-Explorer 2 deep-sea submersible during the !Monaco Yacht Show later this month. Built for two, it was designed for a maximum depth of 1,000 metres and can remain submerged for up to 12 hours. It comes standard with air conditioning, stereo and champagne cooler. I'll take two thanks...

Paul Apparently !Chelsea are considering making a move for !Monaco striker Park Chu-Young after he impressed for South Korea at the 2010 World Cup. Have you ever been to the !Monaco stadium? It's kinda weird, and looks like a normal building from outside.

Joe

Joe !Monaco to grow bigger? That's right folks, Monaco what to expand and they are going to build into the sea to create more space. Around 5 football pitches worth of space that is. It is estimated to cost around £10bn, the plans where dropped last year but have now been looked at further and looks like the plans are in motion :) AWESOME!
