Adelaide is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of South Australia, and is the fifth-largest city in Australia, with a population of more than 1.1 million. It is a coastal city situated on the eastern shores of Gulf St. Vincent, on the Adelaide Plains, north of the Fleurieu Peninsula, between the Gulf St. Vincent and the low-lying Mount Lofty Ranges. It is roughly 20 km (12 mi) from the coast to the foothills but sprawls 90 km (56 mi) from Gawler at its northern extent to Sellicks Beach in the south.
Today, Adelaide is noted for its many festivals and sporting events, its food, wine and culture, its long beachfronts, and its large defence and manufacturing sectors. It continues to rank highly as a livable city, being in the Top 10 in The Economist's World's Most Livable Cities index.

Harris 1 Day left and another 6 wickets to get!!! Rain could come tomorrow but fingers crossed it stays away so England can go 1-0 in the series!!!

Harris I didn't manage to watch any last nightbecause i dont have sky but saw the highlights this morning on my ipnohe and it looks like they done very well!! 1-0 up in the series with 3 tests left!! If we win 1 more then the ashes are coming home!!! Come on England!!! Shame about Broad getting injured, gives a chance for one of the others to come in, think Bresnham should be given a chance as he can bat a bit as well as bowl!!!
Harris I had a friends who went to the first test in ! brisbaine soooo jelous!!! Wish i was out there in the sun watching cricket drinking a nice pint!!!! Much better than the freezing cold back here in !portishead!!! :)
