Harris Lucky for me when England played i was in a noisy environment but all the other games i've watched they ar really starting to annoy me!!!
MikeH Nice idea, I'll be interested to see how well it works. I've got an EQ setting on my hi-fi that allows me to reduce the 300Hz. It may make the commentary sound a little strange however as the human voice can be anything from 85Hz upwards!
Paul I love them!!! It's all part of the amazing atmosphere and I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about... then again I've had tinnitus for over 20 years so perhaps I'm just used to annoying continual sounds!!! Great article though @Beckenham - I bet you get tonnes of people who'll take your advice on this!
Will I found them a to be a bit annoying hearing them when watching them on the TV, but I imagine it would be a totally different experience if you were actually in the crowd at the game!
