A curious blend of ancient and modern, the city is home to an ethnic mix of Chinese, Malays and Indians, as well as expats from all over the world, in a predominantly English-speaking society.

Paul I think !Singapore airport is one of the best in the world. Anywhere else come close? Perhaps the new Emirates Terminal at !Dubai, or T5 at !Heathrow (but never flown from T5 so can't comment!). One thing for sure, it's definitely not !Bristol :)

Paul I flew into Singapore today. it was raining! I have to say Singapore Airlines are awesome and the new A380 is superb! Highly recommended!
