As the owner of The World...
As The World Island in Dubai was a massive part of my inspiration to create Zubworld, so it's only fitting that I own it :)
The original concept for Zubworld was to sell every place on the planet, similar to what Alex Tew did with the excellent www.milliondollarhomepage.com, and combine this with the similar experience of purchasing places of The World Island in Dubai (albeit on a much less expensive scale!!).
Zubworld has evolved massively since the original idea and eureka moment, and now the primary focus is on creating meaningful communities all over the world!
So I still get to utilise my love of geography and travel, plus the site connects more places and communities than any other site on the web!

Paul Ive neglected this Zub! I think !TheWorld has been neglected even more Joe and I don't think they're doing such a great job as we are at shifting places!! (I guess at $5 ours are a little better value!)
Joe Ha ha, wait for marketing, it will come! I suppose !TheWorld was really affected by the recession as well! Buying an island is quite costly :P
Tash I'd forgotten all about this Zub!
Paul The Burj Khalifa (the worlds tallest building) is very, very impressive. BUT, they advertise 200 floors and sell tickets making you think you're going to the top, but actually you only go to the 124th floor. Granted this is very high and a world record, but I felt a bit put out after paying my £20 and getting myself pumped up to go to the top!

Will I agree with @Joe, Avatar is a great film and you need to see it on a big screen and big speakers to do it justice.

Will I think they may be showing it a few cinema's still, an Imax cinema would be best, those screen are absolutely massive!
Joe Yeah it was amazing, I never got to see Alice in Wonderland, quite disappointed I didn't get to see it.

Joe I have known about it for ages, but have seen no promotion from it. With so much money invested they need to start with promotion fast!!

Joe They would say that though, does that mean someone has bought like the whole of africa if they have merged the central islands? Or at least alot of Africa? By the way what happens when the ice caps melt and the water rises, Nakheel must be developing something for this, or at least putting alot of money into stop global warming, any idea @paul?

Paul @J4UTY is the !Dubai expert. Weather in February should be amazing. Did you see Piers Morgan on Dubai. The guy irritates me how smug he is, but I enjoy the programme!

Mark Just had a phone call.. Dubai is indeed sunny.. they're sat in baking sunshine by the pool..
As for Piers.. I actually quite like him.. Think he's done alright for being shamed and sacked from the Mirror.. i think i'd be just as smug as him if i got to share a dressing room with Amanda Holden..

Mark I'm already looking at flights it sounds so much better than snow and clouds right now.. just trying to recruit mr @J4UTY to come along for the sunshine as well..
As for Piers.. I think you need to give him a chance, his smug pompous demeanor is quite funny.. I think he's the kind of guy you'd want to be sat next to on a long flight....

Paul it going to happen I promise... and soon. We all absolutely agree we need this. Our review meeting was very good today. We are extremely pleased with where we are and our Google stats are out of this world (excuse the pun whilst writing from !TheWorld). We're going to send a newsletter very soon with a few feature updates and we're going to get a handful of superusers (I include you within this @adracko) to give us some feedback on some features we want to roll out.
