RamblingWoody I'm very proud of my youngest son & his friends for volunteering to help with the massive clean-up in Brisbane for the next few months!! It's fantastic that complete strangers are rallying round to help each other, especially the ones who were worst affected. Queenslanders are certainly a resilient bunch of people! History repeating itself really as it was the same in the aftermath of the 1974 floods but it was Pete Snr.helping back then! xx

RamblingWoody One more day & its holiday time!! Exmoor here I come!! Lots of walks. Lots of fresh air. Lots & lots of food. (hence the need for the walks!!) No phones or internet just peace & quiet & relaxation. Can't wait!!

RamblingWoody So much for our trip to Noah's Ark!! Rain, rain & more rain so we ended up going to Action Zone then Tesco's for lots of munchies & now Ash, Taylor & Ella are snuggled uder a nice, cosy blanket watching DVDs & eating popcorn!! What a lovely "Summer" we're having!! (Not!)

RamblingWoody Been thinking of ways to celebrate my 65th Birthday as its a bit of a milestone for me after my diagnosis of cancer a couple of years ago!. It must be fate as the Midnight Walk for Charlton Farm Children's Hospice is on the same day so (in memory of little Ashton) anyone who was going to buy me a card or a pressie can please just sponsor me instead.!!
